At the start of the COVID pandemic I send a message to my colleagues. We need to stay together – this is the way out! Please listen! I did this as the CEO of the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA). The WFPHA is the umbrella organization of all national public health associations – 5 million professionals.
Executive Summary
► Major health crisis have shaped the world, as exemplified by the Plague, the Spanish Flu and AIDS.
► Their impact has been on new regulations first and foremost, but more importantly at societal regulations at large.
► Considering the ongoing COVID19 pandemic possibilities are that a new social contract will have to be established.
